About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to help lead our teams to the next level. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in overseeing ongoing all aspects of a project – from pricing, planning, procurement to engineering, administration, inspection & monitoring, scheduling, surveying, Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental, cost control, stakeholder management, and promoting company culture. This is a client-facing role, so strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects from start to finish, including pricing, planning, procurement, and execution, across various stages and projects.
Monitor and record construction activities, work with our clients, undertake site inspections and surveys.
Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
Manage procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Ensure compliance with HSQE standards and regulations.
Monitor and control project costs, budgeting, and forecasting.
Promote and maintain a positive company culture within the team.
About You:
Degree in Civil Engineering. (3 – 5 years’ experience in Engineering.)
A can-do attitude with a desire to learn and develop your skills at the coal face
Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
Strong commercial understanding in construction budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Project Management experience preferred.
Proven leadership experience and ability to inspire and manage a team
Proficient in using benchmarks and offset controls to construct permanent works.
Skilled in reading and interpreting drawings, plans, and Inspection Test Plans.
Ability to contribute to a positive team environment.
Not afraid of doing what needs to be done.
